I played the game twice through in about 3 weeks before getting really tired of it. I still haven't gone back to it. It was really fun, but I haven't gone back. The charm the first time through was amazing as I got it on release date and I didn't know what to expect.

I'm pretty sure I cried when I saw that GBA Birch intro Ruby and Sapphire were my first Pokemon games, and hearing that nostalgic intro theme It's just so beautiful I've played through it twice as well The first time I played was to try out all the new features, like new megas, Soaring, the PokeNav Plus, Contest Spectacular, Super Secret Bases, etc. The second time I played I used a team of Pokemon I've never used before, which made it more challenging. By the end of them game my team was Blaziken, Cosplay Pikachu, Flygon, Sharpedo and Audino. I still have that Pikachu, and I've trained found it has 31 IVs in Special Attack and Speed, so it's perfect for a special sweeper I can't tell you how easy it was to beat Drake with Draining Kiss

The first time through, I used Sceptile, Sharpedo, Camerupt, Hariyama, Metagross, and Altaria. The second time through, I used Swampert, Aggron, Crobat, Gallade, Manectric, and Exploud. Both teams were very good and I don't know which one I liked better. Between the two teams, Mega Altaria was my best Pokemon and that Altaria was the reason that Altaria became my favorite Pokemon.

Oh, I can't remember my first playthrough team! I think it had Sceptile and Altaria on it though... maybe that Mightyena form the start of the game

I tried to use the Mightyena, but it didn't work out. Even with a +Attack nature I found its' power extremely underwhelming.

Eh, you either love it for hate it I didn't mind using it though, the elemental fang is really helpful, especially if you get one that assists with type coverage against your starter!

I wanted to get a Play Rough Mightyena and that's what I was using, but it didn't turn out so well. On my current playthrough, I'm using a Nuzleaf and it kicks some serious butt with Leech Seed and Razor Leaf. Dark Pulse on it would be really cool too.
